This is a snippet of LG Team Genius performance at The Femcee (All Female Showcase) alongside Rah Digga & Ma Barker at Santos Party House in New York City December 16, 2014. The pre & after party was lit from beginning to end featuring DJ June, Mell Star & Tony Touch. The venue was full of celebrity guests such as Dinco D of Leaders of the New School, Jarobi of A Tribe called Quest, Crazy Legs of Rock Steady Crew Tito of Fearless Four, Savion Glover aka The Tap Dance Kid, Shabaam Sahdeeq & many others. There were about 7-10 femcees performances before seasoned femcees Ma Barker & Rah Digga took to the stage. Rah Digga tore it down from the beginning to the end of her what seemed short set. She thanked & praised the audience and was about to exit the stage when the crowd chanted for an encore which she obliged to. She decided to perform the classic Busta Rhymes Classic “Give it me”featuring herself & Mariah Carey. She asked the crowd to help her sing Mariah’s part and when the Busta Rhymes part came up it seemed like out of nowhere (literally) Busta tapped LG’s shoulder and maneuvered towards the stage and grabbed a mic and rapped his part on cue surprising everyone in attendance (including Rah Digga herself) & making them roar with excitement.

"Listen to the DJ" is a direct command. "Listen to the DJ" is also a Media platform for DJ's, Independent Artists / Musicians & Entertainment News. The DJ is the respected Curator of the Music Industry & Urban Culture. DJ's are at the helm of the thriving Hip Hop, Reggae & Pop Music Genres. According to Hip Hop music industry standards the DJ dictates & delegates what's hot or not. Recording Artists make records & we break them. Without the DJ's support or stamp of approval the record most likely will not succeed. There are a few key ingredients to successfully breaking a record in our opinion: The DJ, Marketing, Promotional dollars & musical content. Follow us on our journey while we document our travels filming, interviewing, photographing DJ's, Recording Artists & Listeners across the Globe. Without the DJ, there would be no party or Hip Hop!
